Sympathy card

A friend asked me to make a sympathy card for her daughter-in-law whose mother passed away last week but I did not want to make a card that was too somber so I chose to use grey rather than black plus some soft blue specialty paper that I had.  The card base is ivory rather than white and I die cut a grey shape and put it behind the blue to make a small shadow effect on the shape for the front of the card.  I think it looks soft but not too somber.

The inside is using a Stampin' Up sympathy stamp set.  I stamped the branch with a mild green then added some small silver blossoms stickers and I think it looks rather elegant for the occasion.
