This has been a full week for card-making. Lots of illness as well as birthdays among our friends which has kept me busy making cards, plus the incentive I mentioned yesterday concerning encouraging others with cards.
When a friend had emergency surgery yesterday, I decided that was the time for me to try my hand at making a monochromatic card, i.e., using shades of just one color. I've always shied away from doing that for some reason, but I was glad I shed my fears and made this card:
I embossed the top panel and just added the white flower for a spot of contrast. Will definitely try this again!
